Supported Organizations & Investments
Since 2017, WOC change makers have gathered millions of coins for more than 200 nonprofit programs worldwide. While we celebrate our impact across our six chosen focus areas (Education, Housing, Food, Health, Animals & nature, and Play), and recognize that the needs and opportunities for change remain great, we have chosen to narrow our six impact areas down to three in 2022-2023, specifically focusing our impact around Food-Meals, Housing-Beds, and Education-Backpacks.
We believe that every child should be able to dream up and achieve their fullest potential. To enable dreaming, we first need to ensure every child has a good night's sleep, and shows up to school in the morning with a full belly - well rested, energized, and ready to learn. We must equip every child with a filled pack, complete with books and more nutritious food; all to help them thrive.
We use a two-pronged approach to choosing organizations with whom we partner. Some organizations are chosen by us, based on our knowledge of good work being done, and a larger number land on our list by choice of our youth ambassadors and other change makers working to make an impact in their local communities. 100% of the change collected is directed to these organizations by donor choice.
Since our public launch in 2017, World of Change change makers have supported the following organizations.
